Contents

Step count is not increasing

Dameter reads the step count recorded in the Health app. Please check the following in order.

  1. Open the Health app and check whether steps have been recorded for today
  2. On your iPhone, go to Settings → Apps → Health → Data Access & Devices → Dameter, and check that Steps, Walking + Running Distance and Active Energy are turned on
  3. Open Dameter and pull down on the screen to reload

If Airplane Mode or Low Power Mode has been on for a long time, or if you walked without carrying your iPhone, your steps may not have been counted.

Screen Time data cannot be obtained

Dameter reads your total daily usage time from the iPhone's Screen Time feature.

  1. On your iPhone, check that Screen Time is turned on in Settings → Screen Time
  2. Check that you approved the permission prompt shown when Dameter starts (if you declined, please see "Redoing the permission prompts" below)
  3. If your iPhone was issued by your company or school, a management profile may be restricting access

Even on days when Screen Time data cannot be obtained, your score is still calculated as usual from steps, distance, calories and your Namataro Level.

Notifications are not arriving

  1. Check that notifications are turned on in Settings → Notifications → Dameter on your iPhone
  2. Check that Focus or Do Not Disturb is not suppressing notifications
  3. Check that notifications are turned on in the Settings screen inside Dameter

The app crashes or freezes

Please try the following first.

  1. Quit Dameter completely and start it again
  2. Restart your iPhone
  3. Check in the App Store that Dameter and iOS are up to date

If that does not resolve it, please let us know what happened through Contact. To help us investigate smoothly, it is useful if you can tell us your device model, iOS version, Dameter version and the steps you took when it occurred.

What happens to your data when you change devices

Your daily score history in Dameter is stored on the iPhone you are using. For that reason, the score history itself cannot be transferred to a new iPhone when you change devices. We appreciate your understanding.

The step data in the Health app itself is carried over by Apple via iCloud. On your new iPhone, scores based on your past step data will be displayed as usual.

Your purchased or granted Dara P balance is carried over to the new iPhone through iCloud, provided you are signed in with the same Apple ID. If you are taking part in the ranking function, the nickname and scores you share for the ranking are managed on the server. For details, please see the Privacy Policy.

Deleting your score history or account information

The score history on your iPhone is deleted in full when you uninstall Dameter.

To delete your score history together with the information sent to the server through features such as the ranking function (nickname, scores and the like), use "Delete account" on the Settings screen inside Dameter. Free Dara P is deleted as well. Purchased Dara P and dress-up items remain. This action cannot be undone.

If you are unable to use account deletion, please get in touch through Contact. We will respond after verifying your identity. For details, please see the Privacy Policy.

Redoing the permission prompts

Even if you declined the prompt the first time, you can change it at any time from your iPhone's settings.
